We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2021, at the age of 96, Barbara Beth Barringer Myers of Lenoir, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Edgar and Daisy Hughey Barringer; her husband Granville G. Myers; and her siblings, Jack Dale Barringer, Joseph Hughey Barringer and Julia Ann Barringer.
She is survived by: her children, Granville Guy Myers, II (Patty) of Lenoir and Janet Myers Ferguson of Lenoir; her brother James Emmett Barringer (Noby) of Sutter, CA; and her grandchildren, Granville Scott Crawford (Mandy) of Chicago, IL, Granville Guy Myers, III (Angie) of Hudson, NC and Andrea Elizabeth Myers of Hudson, NC. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
