We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2023, at the age of 87, Mazelle L Benton of Leland, North Carolina, born in Brunswick, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anson Ludlum and Juanita Ludlum; her husband William Marsdon Benton, Sr.; and her sister Betty "Faye" Ludlum Price. She is survived by: her sons, William Benton, Jr. (Tina) of Rocky Point, Kenny Benton (Judy) of Castle Hayne and Jesse Benton (Kerrie) of Delco. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 497 Olde Waterford Way, Belville, NC 28451.
