He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Maze and Annie Thompson Burns; and his grandson-in-law Chris Heath. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Satterfield Burns; his children, Greg Burns (Denise), Karen Mintz (Ronnie), David Burns (Kim) and Kathy Burns; his grandchildren, Tiffany Beach (Ron), Paige Carr, Justin Mintz, Chris Burns (Jessica), Josh Burns and Sarah Mintz (Matt Kerns); his great grandchildren, Hailey Garret, Wade Burns, Jake Burns and Hannah Burns; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Eric and Sofia Beach. He is also survived by his family and friends.
