He was predeceased by: his parents, Lattie Stanley and Mae Stanley; his wife Pauline Sharp Stanley; his daughter Rhonda Stanley; his siblings, Susie Gillespie (Louis), Louise Duckett (Lloyd), Jim (Mary), Clyde and Glen Stanley; and his close friend Clarence Morrow.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Reeves (Kenneth) and Roger Stanley (Wanda); his grandchildren, Athena Carver (James), Amy Rost (Ronnie) and Brandon Christopher (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Jenna, Mikayla, Tyler, Allie, Jack, Easton and Logan; his nieces and nephews, Brenda Clemmons (Bobby), Teresa Duckett, Wade Gillespie (Sandy) and David Gillespie (Cindy); his brother-in-law McKinley Sharp, Jr.; his nephew Darryl; his sister-in-law Thelma Price; and his nieces and nephews, Howell Price (Paula) and Dale Hipps (Ray).
