We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2023, at the age of 70, Melanie Jayne Retzke of Leicester, North Carolina, born in Columbus, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Albert and Dorothey Viola Retzke. She is survived by: her siblings, David Retzke (Terri) and Miriam Retzke; her niece Stephanie Retzke (Travis); and her great-niece Madelynn. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Melanie J. Retzke Scholarship Fund at the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina or the Pampered Pets in Leicester, NC.
