He was predeceased by: his parents, T. L. Peek and Mary Sue King Peek; and his daughter Donna Jean Sams. He is survived by: his wife Melba Owens Peek; his sons, Lee Peek (Jennifer) and Matthew Peek; his grandchildren, Jamie (Jason), Jess (Dale) and Austin; his great grandchildren, Abigale and Chloe; his siblings, Brenda Hyatt (Frank) and Edward Peek (Debbie); and his close friends, Mike and Earlene Ball.
