She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Romanza Brown and Carolyn Elizabeth Black; her husband Ralph L. Harwood; and her grandson Aaron Teague. She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Denise Harwood Teague (Coleman) of Leicester, NC and Cynthia Kay Harwood Gosselin (Daniel) of Stanley, NC; her siblings, Sam Brown (Elaine) of Taylors, SC, Betty Buckner of Fairview, NC, Janice Penland of Swannanoa and Joyce Moore of Clarksville, TN; her grandsons, Jason Teague (Mary) of Clyde, NC, Trevor Gosselin (Heather) of Gastonia, NC and Quentin Gosselin (Caitlin) of Charlotte, NC; and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Austin, Maggie and Rhett.
