It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Grooms (Laurel Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on February 21, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Grooms and Helen Wright Grooms; his wife Joyce Brady Grooms; and his sister Mary Ruth Edwards. He is survived by: his siblings, Hilda Dohogn of Laurel Hill, Carol Moffitt (Tom) of Laurel Hill, Lee Woodard of Laurel Hill, Elaine Garrison (Mal) of Chesterfield, S. C., Linda McCuiston of Rockingham and Robert Grooms (Beulah) of Laurel Hill; and his niece Kimberly Hope Dohogn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
