She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Whitt and Cora Stanley Whitt; her husband William Jesse Evans Sr.; and her siblings, Pete Whitt, Donald Whitt, Sylvia Jessup, Lena Whitaker and Betty Lou Lineberry.
She is survived by: her children, William Jesse "Punie" Evans Jr. (Ann) of Laurel Hill, NC and Betty Todd (Ernie) of Dunn, NC; her brothers, Ronald Whitt of Mt. Airy, NC and Kent Whitt of Mt. Airy, NC; her grandchildren, Chris Hogan, Niki Hammonds (Chad), Jessica Ward (Auty), Mary Ellen Todd (Shayne Yauds) and Josh Todd (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Stone, Seth Hogan, Kierra Hammonds, Jayden Knight, Johnny Knight, Lillian Knight, Peyton Knight, Samantha Dixon, Dalton Dixon, Connor Todd and Kennedy Todd. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
