She is survived by: her mother Johnnie Mae Buchanan Bass of Laurel Hill; her daughter Abana Sykes; and her siblings, John Bass (Angela) of Laurel Hill, Carol Jordan (Terry Jordan) of Hamlet and Stephanie Marie Purdy (Matt) of Harper's Ferry, WV. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, many loving friends, along with her cat and four dogs.
