He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Anderson Brindle and Annie Louise Lambert Jenkins; and his siblings, Frances Brindle Richards, Donald Gene Brindle and Dennis Jenkins.
He is survived by: his wife Robin Priest Brindle; his children, Robert Brindle of Knoxville, TN, Cassie Brindle of Virginia and Jeff Brindle (Kristal) of Madisonville, TN; and his sisters, Carolyn Barnette (Lee) of China Grove, NC, Joyce B. Smith (Riley) of Salisbury, NC and Colleen B. Davis of Kannapolis, NC.
