She was predeceased by: her parents, Angus Sessoms, Sr. and Janie Seagraves Sessoms; her husband Carl Wensil Sr.; and her siblings, Angus Sessoms, Jr., Janie Mae McKenzie and Pauline Pate.
She is survived by: her children, Hilda "Sue" Jacobs of Laurel Hill, Carl Lee Wensil Jr. of Red Springs, Ronnie Wensil of Laurel Hill and Billy Wensil of Laurel Hill; and her close friend Andrew Rhye. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
