With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lora Gene Young of Lansing, North Carolina, born in Concord, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lora Gene left this world on February 25, 2025 at the age of 41, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandfathers, Arnold Young and Eugene Fields. She is survived by: her parents, Charles Martin and Carla Fields Young; her brother John Young (Lori) of Warrensville; her niece Luna Warren; her grandmothers, Carolyn Young of Sparta and Alma Fields of LaGrange, NC; her aunts and uncles, Marty Franklin (Mike), Julian Young (Kim), Sue Wilson and Jackie Crane; and her cousins, Crock Adams and Andrew McKay.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Helton Creek Community Center (14200 NC-194, Lansing, NC 28643).
Memorial contributions may be made to Lansing Bridge to Recovery, Northern Peak State Trail/Paddy Mountain, Mountains-to-Sea Trail, or SECU Family House in Winston Salem NC.
