He was predeceased by: his father John Henry Young. He is survived by: his mother Pastor Lucy Mitchell Young; his wife Linette Young; his children, Devin Young of Lake Waccamaw, Erica S. Young of Whiteville and Kayla R. Jacobs of Lake Waccamaw; his grandchildren, Avery Moore, Jaidah Jacobs, Karee Young, Kove Robinson and Treasure Jacobs; and his siblings, Earlon Mitchell (Wanda) of Council, Shelly Watts (Percy) of Lake Waccamaw and Myrtle Lindsay (Michael) of Lake Waccamaw.
