He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Chavis and Louise Hunt Chavis; and his sister Lisa Lowry. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Hill and Linda Hill; his grandchildren, Tre, Jadden "LuLu" Hill and Dakoda "Koda" Hill; and his siblings, Larry Chavis, Cassie Chavis, Margaret Dowless and Bobo Chavis.
