He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton Stephenson and Frankie Nell Russell Stephenson; and his brother Dalton Russell Stephenson. He is survived by: his wife Gerry Stancil Stephenson; his daughters, Leigh Stephenson Tolleson (Christopher Tolleson) and Dana Stephenson of Asheville; his grandchildren, Gabriel, Caleb and Nora Tolleson; his sister Susan Stephenson Rouse (Lee) of New Bern; his nephews, Alex, Graham Rouse, George and Wade Stephenson; his niece Lisa Stifleman-Perry; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Stephenson.
Due to COVID, the family is asking for everyone to wear a mask and practice social distancing while attending the service.
