It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pennie King (Knightdale, North Carolina), born in Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Kinchen Tant and Lizzie Tant; her husband Alec Clifton King; and her siblings, James Tant, Randolph Tant, Magalen Tant Lewis and John Davis Tant.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard "Ricky" Brantley (Lisa K.) and William "Willie" Brantley (Lisa A.); her grandchildren, Beverly Odom, Amanda Faye Brantley, Ricky Samuel, Justin Andrew Brantley and Clarissa Jarvis; and her siblings, J. B. Tant, Earl Tant, Billy Tant, Clyde Tant and Marie Tant Ray. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
