He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Jethro Kaess and Minnie Upright Kaess; his wife Eileen Foster Kaess; and his brothers, Frank Raymond Kaess and Robert Arthur Kaess.
He is survived by: his children, Raymond Arthur Kaess (Lorena), Michael Richard Kaess (Rita), Clifford Ernest Kaess (Wendy), Diana Marie K. Reuter and Arleen Odette K. Pippin. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchild.
