She is survived by: her children, Teresa Hall of Knightdale, Anthony Powell of El Paso, TX and Steven Powell Sr. of Dallas, TX; her sister Dianne Jones of Raleigh; her cousin David Curtis of Raleigh; and her close friend Linda Godfrey of Raleigh. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
