We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2021, at the age of 87, Edward Erickson (Knightdale, North Carolina), born in Port Chester, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Erickson and Verner Erickson; his brother Bobby; and his son-in-law Mike. He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his children, Shona (John), Bobby (Rosanne), Linda (Kevin) and Norma; his grandchildren, John, Eric, Ashley, Heather, Bobby, Kristine, Griffin and Zoe; his great grandchildren, Jared, Logan, Adeline and Bennett; his sister Eileen (Ron) of Pound Ridge, NY; and his nephew Jim Gleba.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on Ed's behalf to one of his favorite charities; VFW Post 5955 Selma, NC; American Legion Post 132 Smithfield, NC; Navy Seabee Vets, Adirondack chapter Korean War Veterans Association and St. Eugene Catholic Church Wendell NC.
