She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Paul Glenn Woodard and Mildred Sparks Woodard; her sons, Randy Jones of Knightdale and Steve Jones (Jennifer Ashe) of Durham; her stepson Patrick Schmiedel; her sister Josie Woodard Douglas of Knightdale; her grandchildren, Jenna Jones, Connor Jones, Zoe Ashe-Jones and Gabe Ashe-Jones; her nieces and nephews, Joey Douglas, Beth Douglas Guy, Mark Guy and Mabel Guy Culbreth; and her close friend Donald Joyner.
