He was predeceased by: his brother Daryl Guffey. He is survived by: his wife Trudy Boyd Guffey; his children, Sara A. Gassaway (Jeff) and Matthew "Matt" Guffey; his grandchildren, Noah, Calen and Asher Gassaway; his siblings, Kevin W. Guffey and Lala G. Lemons (Mike); and his sister-in-law Becky Guffey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
