She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Perry Haywood and Ernest L. Haywood; her husband Pernell Jacklin Perry; and her brother Gaskill Austin. She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Perry Saunders (Skip Saunders) of Kitty Hawk; her grandchildren, Haley Sullivan (Judd Snapp) of Kitty Hawk and Owen Perry Sullivan (Jenna Gwaltney) of Manteo; her great grandchildren, Finn and Jett Snapp; and her sister Barbara Duvall (Bob Duvall).
