She is survived by: her children, Isabella Leggett Strickland and Graham Banks Evans of Kitty Hawk; and her siblings, Jean Derbyshire Dada (Aleem) of Raleigh and Alexander Lanier Shuping (Sara) of Raleigh. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
