She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alonzo and Lillie Leora Rice Biddix; her husband Jack; and her siblings, Major Madeline Edwards, Virgina May Fletcher, Carolyn Doris Gainey, Wilson Theodore Biddix, Edward Eugene Biddix and John Bascomb Biddix.
She is survived by: her sons, David Michael Chastain (Betty) of Grifton and Paul Keith Chastain; her daughter-in-law Lois of Fayetteville; her daughter Amanda Chastain Graham (Scott) of Tallahassee; her granddaughters, Jennifer, Meagan and Ashlie; her great grandchildren, Sydney (Malaki), Parker, Troy, Caden, Eli, Trey, Olivia and Sterling; and also Jayna.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Major Rosalie Chastain's name to The Salvation Army in Kinston, North Carolina.
