She is survived by: her husband Bobby of McLeansville, NC; her sons, Bobby Roydel Hopkins, Jr. of Arlington, VA and Benjamin Daryl Hopkins of Atlanta, GA; her parents, Ben Lee and Dorothy Lee of Emporia, VA; her sister Benita Lee Ballentine of Durham, NC; her parents-in-law, Doris Pittman and Benny Smith of Kinston, NC; her brothers-in-law, Cedric, Eldred, Norbert, Edwin Hopkins and Warren Ballentine; and her friend Lisa Mitchell Goodlett of Indian Land, SC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins.
Until COVID she had the distinction of never missing Homecoming and after COVID she never missed a Homecoming until this year when she could no longer physically join her Aggie Family at the stadium.
She was an active participant of the NC A&T Aggie Athletic Foundation.
