He was predeceased by: his parents, Hettie Evelyn Tripp Stallings and Thomas "Tom" Troy Stallings; his siblings, Hettie Marie Stallings Harrell, John Stallings and Thomas "Big Tom" Stallings; and his granddaughter Stephanie Jean Stallings.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Stallings; his children, James Alton Stallings Jr. "Bugger" of Kinston and Angela "Angie" Jean Stallings (Cam) of Kinston; and his sister Barbara Ann Moody Stallings of Deep Run. He is also survived by his family, especially children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made in memory of Jimmy Stallings.
