She was predeceased by: her parents, Talmage Lewis and Ruby Cornett Lewis; her husband G. W. "Dub" Ellis; and her daughter Karen Elizabeth Ellis (Baby Ellis). She is survived by: her daughter Denese Ellison Armstrong (Bob) of Mooresville, NC.; her grandchildren, Brodie Ellison of Kings Mountain, NC, Joanna Lewis (Mark) of Mooresville, NC. and Lance Armstrong (Joycelynn) of Mooresville, NC.; and her great grandchildren, Joseph, Zachary, Ava, Gabriel, Dallas, Calix and Nadia.
