He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Thomas Gibson and Nancy Elizabeth Moran Gibson; and his sister Elizabeth Shanahan. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Thomas Gibson (Amanda), Logan Chase Gibson (Kelly Robinson) and Corey Landon Gibson; his siblings, Tim Gibson of Charlotte and Jean Gibson of Russellville, KY; and his wife Melissa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
