It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearline Draughon of King, North Carolina, who passed away on July 31, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Evans and Ruby Evans; her siblings, Lonnie Ralph Evans, Gene Autry Evans and Lottie Joyce Herring; her son-in-law Joe Brinegar; and her niece Mary Catherine DeStefano.
She is survived by: her husband James Strickland; her daughter Susan Brinegar; her granddaughter Tammy Brinegar of King, NC; her great grandchild Marilyn Pegram of Mount Airy, NC; and her granddaughter Melissa Porter. She is also survived by 3 great-great grandchildren.
