She was predeceased by: her parents, Lenoard Greir Nance and Odessa Hudson Nance; her husband James Roy Colter; and her siblings, L. G. Nance and Faye Thacker.
She is survived by: her sons, Rick Colter, Keith Colter (Susan) and David Colter; her grandchildren, Kelly Bera (Brian), Adam Colter (Sara), Kari Reece (Brad), Katie Poynter (Joe), AJ Colter (Virginia) and Britt Wright (Tessa); and her sisters, Judy Cole and Marty Marshall. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
