She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Hauser and Ella Miller Hauser. She is survived by: her children, Ella Holt (Jimmy McMillon) of Rural Hall, Ricky Bowen (Vickie) of Pinnacle and Rita Needham (Barry) of Germanton; her grandchildren, Amanda Hunter (Jason), Jason Bowen, Justin Grimes (Brittney), Adam Griffith, Brandon Needham (Ashlyn), Erin Griffith (Alex Brewer) and Tyler Needham; and her sister Carole Coon of Pinnacle. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
