She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Luther "Bud" and Flora Ethel Kress Corvin; and her sons, Isaac Lee Bottoms, Michael Lue Bottoms and Mark Samuel Bottoms.
She is survived by: her husband James Rennie Hughes; her children, Wendy Morris (Bill) of Franklinville, Joy Ogburn (Randy) of Winston Salem and John Bottoms of Winston Salem; and her stepdaughter Kathy Lacey (Kevin) of Murrells Inlet, SC.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South Stokes Church of Christ.
