He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Graybeal and Margaret Graybeal; and his siblings, Ellen Jane Graybeal, Charles Graybeal, Jr. and Johnny Allen Graybeal.
He is survived by: his brothers, Thomas Graybeal (Jolene) of Mt. Airy, N. C. and James Graybeal (Barbara) of Bristol, Tenn.; his aunt Shelby Kerton of Bristol, Tenn.; and his adoptive parents, Robert Carter and Judy Carter of Dobson, N. C.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be private in St. Clair Bottom Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 408 Whitetop Road, Chilhowie, Va. Family and friends are asked to follow the COVID-19 Safety & Social Distancing Guidelines.
