It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Arthur Farris Jr. of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on August 9, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Estelle Neal Farris; his wife Priscilla Johnson Farris; his daughter Brandina Johnson; his stepmother Queen Farris; and his siblings, Debra Farris, Ricky Farris, Michael Blakeney and Tony Leak.
He is survived by: his father William A. Farris, Sr. of Kannapolis; his son Shawn Johnson of Concord; his grandchildren, Shaveyon Johnson, Shanitana Johnson and Ashive Johnson; his siblings, Gloria Farris of Kannapolis, NC, Martin (Roosevelt) of Kannapolis, NC, Lisa Lyons (Rickey) of Kannapolis, NC, Tracy Hilton (Marvin) of Kannapolis, NC, Tommie Ann Jordan (Carl) of Kannapolis, NC, Sonya Ladda (Roger) of Kannapolis, NC, Timothy Jordan (Sylvia) of Kannapolis, NC, Jessie Farris of Kannapolis, NC, David Farris of Concord, NC and Robert Neal of Concord, NC; his stepchildren, Marlon Johnson of Kannapolis and Bresha Johnson; and his close friend Bridget Shackleford. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Due to Covid-19, masks are appreciated if worn in all services.
