She was predeceased by: her parents, Delvis Walker Ayers and Mary Elizabeth Ayers; her former husband Charles Jesse Blalock, Jr.; her stepdaughter Amanda Blanco; and also, Roy Wesley Turner and Linda Ayers.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny Ray Alexander; her sister Kathryn Ayers; her children, Charles Blalock (Kim), Victoria Suzanne Austin, Kelly Alexander and Christina Alexander; her stepson Johnny Alexander, Jr.; her siblings-in-law, Glenn Alexander and Margaret Sizemore; and her grandchildren, Sandon Sherrill, Douglas Alexander, Noah, Wesley Blalock, Jesse Joplin, Mili, Jayna, James, John Austin, Katelyn Price, Chris Joplin, Bianca Blanco, Talulah Sherrill and Hudson Joplin.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park - Kannapolis (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025).
