She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Samuel Echerd (Cora Echerd) and Cora Linnie Hammer Echerd; her sisters, Kathleen Harrill of Raleigh, Helen Smyre of Durham and Thelma Mendenhall of Winston Salem; her daughters, Jill Atwood Brown (Paul) of Kannapolis and Donna Atwood of Fredericksburg, Texas; her grandson Sandon Seagraves of Rockledge, Florida; her great grandchildren, Sandon Blaise Seagraves and Harper Finn Seagraves; and her sister Arveta Millsaps (Ace) of Raleigh. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
