He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Jones Morgan and Eula Sells Morgan; his wife Shirley Morgan; and his brothers, Paul and Carl Morgan.

He is survived by: his daughter Angela Wilson (Harold) of Kannapolis, NC; his grandsons, Kevan Dover (Gina), Mason Lear and Brandon Wilson; and his great grandchildren, Dalton Dover and Madilyn Dover. He is also survived by nieces and one nephew.
