She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Sides and Bertie Beaver Sides; and her husband George William Messer (Bill). She is survived by: her brother Bobby Sides; her sister-in-law Francis Sides; her daughter Laura (Mark Spears); her nephew Mitchell Messer; her grandson Andrew Conway (Kristen); her great grandchildren, Hunter, Holden and Hannah; her granddaughter Leah Tonissen (Drew); her great grandchildren, Kate and Elise; her grandsons, John David Conway (Hillary Sheaff) and William Messer; her son Turner; and her grandchildren, Lindsay Spears, Jon Spears and Samantha Messer (Hilda). She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
