With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Roy Whitley of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on November 19, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Lee Whitley and Alma Fronie Thompson Whitley. He is survived by: his wife Wilma K. Whitley; his son Kenneth Whitley (Mia) of Concord; his grandsons, Nolan and Harrison; his sister Judy Tyner (Fred) of Rockwell; and also Robert Whitley of Kannapolis.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Piedmont Baptist Church, 5870 Wright Rd, Kannapolis, NC 28081 Whitley's Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Whitley.
