She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Flowers and Ada Powers Flowers; her husband Richard Prescott; and her daughter Darlene Cahoon. She is survived by: her son David Prescott of Portsmouth, VA; her son-in-law Lester Cahoon of Kannapolis; and her grandchildren, Paul Cahoon, Teri Cahoon, Dawn Maurx, Mark Cahoon, Noah Cahoon, Jonathan Prescott and Jennifer Prescott. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
