With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane Glenn Schmidt of Kannapolis, North Carolina, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on June 9, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Charles Blankenbaker. She is survived by: her mother Margaret Hosse Blankenbaker; her daughter Dana; her sister Carole Burton; her granddaughter Tasha Schmidt Morris; her husband Charles E. Schmidt, Jr.; her sons, Chuck (Jacque), David (Jennifer), Ronnie (Beverly) and Rick Schmidt (Tammy); and her cousin Bobby Wiesman. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
