She was predeceased by: her parents, Fletcher Moon, Sr. and Marie Cannon Moon; her husband William Shankle; and her siblings, Margaret Cannon Newsome, Irene Cannon Allen, Wilhelmena Henderson, William McCollough, Thomas Gene Cannon, Fletcher Moon, Jr. and James Sidney Cannon.
She is survived by: her daughter Nekita Cassandra Moon of Salisbury, NC; her grandchildren, Paris Moon, Asia Moon and Demetria Moon; her great grandchildren, Londin Bolder, Ivyana Moon, Ayden Moon and Josiah Moon; her sisters, Emma McClain of Kannapolis, NC and Sylvia Moon of Kannapolis, NC; her aunt Corine Cannon of Kannapolis, NC; and her close friend Clifford Gray. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Due to Covid-19, masks are appreciated if worn in all services.
