It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Mills Ranson of Kannapolis, North Carolina, born in Huntersville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce McLaughlin Ranson and Ellen Ranson; his wife Dorothy Ranson; his daughter Jean Ranson Ramsey; and his siblings, Joe Wallace Ranson, Sarah Eunice Ranson, Lois Ellen Ranson, Catherine Lee Clay and Esther Burgess.
He is survived by: his sons, James Wallace Ranson (Lona) of Concord, NC, Bruce Allen Ranson of Kannapolis, NC and William Phillip Ranson (Rhonda) of London, KY; his grandchildren, Janette Marie Ranson (Andy), Joy Ellen Ranson (Darrell), James William Ranson, Heather Ranson Prewitt (Zac) and William Travis Ranson (Christona); his great grandchildren, Tyler Mae Ranson, Chancler Bruce Ranson, Savannah Narie Ranson, Patrick James Barber, Grace Sawyer, Rylee Rae Prewitt and William Maddox Ranson; and his great great grandchild William Bruce Ranson.
