He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Shue and Mary Thornburg Shue; his siblings, James Shue and Nellie Coble; and his son-in-law Brandon Barrier.
He is survived by: his wife Martha "Naomi" Bennett Shue; his daughters, Jaymie Barrier-Baker (Timothy) and Jackie Huneycutt (Glenn); his grandchildren, Joshua Barrier (Jamie), Paige McNamara (Michael), Matthew Barrier (Auburn), Jeremy Huneycutt (Carresa) and Meghan Dietz (Chris); his great grandchildren, Grayson Barrier, Kagan Barrier, Alexis McCann, Zepplyn Huneycutt and Chase Dietz; his siblings, Jack Shue (Linda) and Ruth Mullis (James); and his pets, Cody and Zoie.
