She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Smoot Clay and Jessie Garmon Clay; and her sister Anita. She is survived by: her husband John Robert Campbell, Sr. of Kannapolis; her children, John Campbell, Jr. (Annette) of Rockwell and Penny Henry (Tommy) of Cheraw, SC; her brother Ronnie Clay of Concord; and her grandchildren, Amanda Henry, T. J. Henry (April), Travis Campbell (Kelsey) and Taylor Blackwell (Andrew). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
