Ruby Bailey Layton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Bailey Layton of Julian, North Carolina, who passed away on July 4, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Clarence Bailey and Annie Cross Bailey; her husband James "Jim" Richard Layton, Sr.; her son James Richard "Richie" Layton, Jr.; and her siblings, Lorene Bailey May, Irene Bailey May, John Calvin Bailey and Ralph Robert Cross.
She is survived by: her son Kenneth Gregory "Greg" Layton (Patricia Layton); her granddaughters, Jennifer Layton Lavoie (Robert), Michelle Layton and Nicole Layton; and her great grandchildren, Shane Layton and Braden Layton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
