We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2020, at the age of 89, Bill Douglas Cox (Julian, North Carolina), born in Liberty, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Cox and Ruby Capps Cox; his sister Vallie Cox Freeman; and his great grandchild Kason Duff. He is survived by: his significant other Barbara Nelson; his daughters, Janice Cox Duff (Ted Brooks) of Elmira, N. Y. and Nelsa Cox of Fuquay-Varina, N. C.; his grandsons, Robert D. Duff (Erin) of Liberty and Tyler S. Duff (Stacy) of Knoxville, Tenn.; and his great grandchildren, Carmen Duff, Mackenzie Duff, Beckam Duff, Graelynn Duff and Harrison Duff.
Due to Covid-19 a graveside service will be at Gilmore Memorial Park, Julian, N. C., Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 3:00 P. M with full military rights. The family will receive friends with social distancing from 2:00 to 2:45pm at the gravesite.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Burlington.
