He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Wood and Mary Belle Williams Patten; and his son Christopher Matthew Wood. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Baysden Wood; his sons, Charles Patrick Wood (Allison) and Joshua Wood (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Caroline Wood, Jackson Wood, Lilly Wood, Ethan Wood and Connor Wood; his sister Rose Mary Carver (Jerry); and his nieces and nephews, Sophia Patten, Madison Kennemur, Skylar Kennemur, Loretta Burton, Jason Guthrie and Patrick Kennemur.
