With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sylvia Harrison of Jamestown, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2024 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Leonard and Julia Elizabeth Apple Coleman; and her brothers, Leonard Coleman and Joseph Coleman (Wiliam Collins). She is survived by: her sisters, Sally Cook (Raymond), Donna Little and Kate Brummer (Gary); her children, Dana Harrison Haynes (David) of Jamestown, NC and James "Chan" Harrison (Madiel) of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren, Brian Haynes, Grace Haynes, Bethany Scruggs and Katie Scruggs; and her pet Cooper.
